Genie’s 180-foot SX-180 self-propelled boomlift has found success in Sweden, where Kranpunkten AB rented a Genie SX-180 to V Städ, which needed a 79-foot horizontal outreach above a line of trees, and still be able to reach top floor windows at 82 feet. V Städ chose to use the 180-foot lift as an alternative to a truck-mounted lift.

"For us, the SX-180 was certainly our best alternative to clean the windows of the Lindholmen building in Citadellen,” said Thomas Hallberg of V Städ. “In addition to reducing costs, our operator was also impressed by its smooth precision and found it surprisingly stable and fast to operate for a unit in this category. The windows will need cleaning next spring, so we’ll definitely be using the SX-180 again.”
