Speedy Hire has named former Aggreko executive chairman Dr. Chris Masters to its board as a non-executive director.
Masters, who led the de-merger of Aggreko from logistics group Christian Salvesen in 1997, took early retirement from the company in 2002 at the age of 55. Masters has since built a portfolio of non-executive appointments, including serving as senior independent director of Aberdeen-based energy service giant Wood Group.
The United Kingdom’s largest equipment rental company, Speedy Hire is based in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, U.K.
