Lavendon Group, U.K.-based powered access equipment specialist, increased revenues by 6 percent in 2014, with strong growth in the U.K., Middle East and France.

Lavendon Group, U.K.-based powered access equipment specialist, increased revenues by 6 percent in 2014, with strong growth in the U.K., Middle East and France. The company’s German business returned to revenue growth in the fourth quarter.

Rental revenue increased 6 percent for the company in 2014, paced by 15 percent in the Middle East, 8 percent in France and 7 percent in the U.K.,

The Middle East posted revenue growth of 20 percent in the fourth quarter.

Economic conditions within Continental Europe markets remain generally difficult, the company said.

“The group performed well in 2014, with strong revenue growth in our U.K., Middle East and French businesses driving improvements in our profitability and margins,” said Don Kenny, chief executive of Lavendon. “This performance has been delivered despite exchange rate headwinds on our overseas earnings and the continued economic weakness in our Continental European markets.”
