Haulotte has established Haulotte Japan, which previously operated as a branch office in Japan since March 2015, thus confirming the aerial manufacturer’s long-term commitment to the Japanese market. Based in Osaka, the subsidiary will now operate with an increased stock of spare parts, which will shorten the lead time for maintenance and repairs, with the primary objective being customer satisfaction. The Japanese team will also focus on improving communications with its customers through regular face-to-face meetings and seminars.

In line with Haulotte’s worldwide policy of tapping deep local market knowledge, Haulotte Japan plans to work with experienced local partners to help all parties grow their businesses. An increased staff, including an experienced French engineer, will help Haulotte Japan better serve and broaden its customer base while seeking new and emerging market opportunities.

Haulotte has long recognized the importance of Asian markets. The sales and services subsidiary Haulotte Japan complements the group’s footprint in China and Singapore, and is a key part of its ongoing expansion plans in Asia.

Haulotte’s ties with Japan began more than nine years ago, when it first supplied its Star10 product, followed by a series of electric scissorlifts. During the past two years, Haulotte has sold medium to large articulating booms, primarily to customers in the construction and shipyard industries. Haulotte is currently the market leader in Japan for articulating booms.

Haulotte celebrate the opening of Haulotte Japan with its rental partner in Japan, Nishio Rent All Co. Ltd., with lunch in Osaka.

“Today I am very honored to announce the incorporation of Haulotte Japan and looking forward to building great relationships with our local partners,” said Damien Gautier, managing director, Haulotte Asia Pacifc.

“Nishio looks forward to continuing and building on the great relationship we have enjoyed with Haulotte as its rental partner since 2015,” added Masahi Nishio, president of Nishio Rent All Co. “We foresee that having an expert French engineer stationed full-time at Haulotte’s office will help us respond swiftly and efficiently to customer inquiries.”
