Ramirent Acquires Finnish Weather-Protection and Scaffolding Outfit

Ramirent Finland this week signed an agreement to acquire Suomen Sääsuoja, based in Tuusula, Finland, which specializes in renting scaffolding and weather protection equipment. The management and employees will transfer to the new owner’s employ. Suomen Sääsuoja had 2010 revenue of €5.9 million (about U.S. $8.4 million). The company has branches in Tuusula and Pori.

For our customers, this means safer activities all-year around regardless of weather conditions.”

Ramirent, based in Helsinki, Finland with operations in 13 countries, has 84 branches in Finland with annual revenue of €137 million (about U.S. $195 million).
