Groundforce, a division of U.K. rental chain Vp, is opening a branch in Lehrte, near Hannover, Germany. The company’s branch is alongside TPA Portable Roadways, also owned by Vp and one of Europe’s largest suppliers of temporary access equipment.
The branch will be fully operational in July 2012 and will be headed by Groundforce technical sales manager Jorge Heidmeier. The facility will offer a range of excavation support equipment and associated products. Groundco rents and sells shoring, formwork and piling equipment, pipe stoppers and pumps.
Groundforce is working on major contracts in Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
