Deutz Establishes Sales and Service Company in China

Engine manufacturer Deutz AG is establishing a sales and service company in China, the Cologne, Germany-based company said last week. Deutz already has two joint ventures in China for its locally manufactured engines. The sales and service company will bring together all of Deutz’ activities in the Chinese market, its largest growth market in Asia.

The sales and service company will bring together all of Deutz’ activities in the Chinese market, its largest growth market in Asia.

The establishment of a subsidiary in Beijing will enhance the range of services offered to new and existing customers in China.

Deutz named Bernd Freudenmann CEO of the Chinese venture. Freudenmann has more than seven years experience working in senior managerial positions for Deutz in Asia, most recently heading up its subsidiary Deutz Asia-Pacific Ltd. in Singapore.
