Australian crane rental firm Boom Logistics has temporarily closed two of its branches in the flooded Australian state of Queensland. The company said equipment located at Boom Logistics’ facilities have not been damaged, but the company shut down facilities and evacuated staff while its employees support recovery efforts in the region.

Boom Logistics said severe weather in December has cost it about AU$1.2 million (about U.S. $1.2 million) in earnings.
