Atlas Copco Opens Customer Center in Mozambique

Atlas Copco this week opened a new customer center in Maputo, Mozambique, strengthening its presence in the country and increasing the support for local customers.

Atlas Copco this week opened a new customer center in Maputo, Mozambique, strengthening its presence in the country and increasing the support for local customers.

The new customer center will offer a range of products including surface mining, exploration and compressed air equipment, as well as drilling consumables and related parts and services. In addition to the customer center in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, there will be a branch office to the northwest in Tete.

“The new customer center opens new business opportunities for Atlas Copco in southern Africa,” said Bob Fassl, business area president, Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Technique. “It brings us closer to our customers, allowing us to provide them with closer support, as well as a wider product offering.”

Atlas Copco previously conducted business in Mozambique through Atlas Copco South Africa and a local distributor network.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Atlas Copco is an industrial group with positions in compressors, expanders and air treatment systems, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems.
