United Rentals last week announced branch openings in New Braunfels, Texas, and Phoenix.
Both facilities are located on about 2.5 acres and will provide customers with equipment rentals, new and used equipment sales, repair and maintenance services, and a comprehensive line of contractor supplies.
"New Braunfels' proximity to San Antonio's regional labor force is an advantage relative to many communities in Texas," said Warren Smalley, branch manager for United Rentals. "Industrial expansion, particularly within the automotive industry, has helped fuel a strong construction market here. Our customers are involved in that growth, and they rely on us for equipment, supplies and services around the clock."
The company cites development in the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas of Arizona as the reason for opening a new branch there.
Greenwich, Conn.-based United Rentals is No. 1 on the RER 100.
