Yancey Bros. Promotes Wilfore to COO

Yancey Bros. Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Georgia promoted T.A. “Bud” Wilfore to chief operating officer. Wilfore will be responsible for managing the customer-focused operations for all five company divisions.

Yancey Bros. Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Georgia promoted T.A. “Bud” Wilfore to chief operating officer. Wilfore will be responsible for managing the customer-focused operations for all five company divisions.

Wilfore joined Yancey Bros. in 1989 and has served in various management and leadership positions within the company. Under his leadership, the company added a compact equipment division in 1995, a rental services division in 1997 and an agricultural products division in 2000. His most recent post was executive vice president.

In Wilfore’s new role, he will lead Yancey Bros.’ sales, rental and product support operations for heavy and compact equipment as well as all business related to agricultural products, power generation and engine operations.

Founded in 1914, Yancey is the oldest Caterpillar dealership in the United States. It now has 27 sales and service facilities in 19 Georgia cities. Yancey Bros. is No. 49 on the RER 100.
