Worldwide Power Products Signs Partnership Agreement with HiPower Systems

Worldwide Power Products partners with HiPower Systems to be the sole authorized Texas distributor of HiPower standby backup generators.

Worldwide Power Products, a power-generation equipment provider to industrial and petroleum clients worldwide, has signed a partnership agreement with HiPower Systems, a manufacturer of power-generation and power-distribution equipment in the United States and Canada. Under the terms of the agreement, WPP will be the sole authorized Texas distributor for HiPower standby backup generators.

WPP plans to offer the HiPower standby backup units for sale and rental, and to incorporate them into its innovative emergency standby rental solution. With this program, customers pay a flat monthly rate to reserve a rental and enjoy unlimited hours of usage in the event of an emergency.

“As we expand our distributor program, we’re looking for experienced, well-connected power-distribution equipment providers to represent us across the U.S.,” said Raphael Acosta, president of HiPower Systems. “WPP brings just the right kind of expertise and enthusiasm that we need to grow our presence in and across Texas.”

“These units, which range in size from 25kW to 3000kW, will be a welcome addition to the market in storm-prone Texas,” said WPP vice president of sales and engineering Dave Vennie. “Standby HiPower units are a perfect choice for our Texas customers, as they are known for their efficiency, durability and sound-dampening properties.”

Worldwide Power Products is headquartered in Houston.  HiPower Systems, a division of Himoinsa, S.L., is a multi-national manufacturer based in San Javier, Murcia, Spain.
