Spider, a division of SafeWorks LLC, named Abel Fernandez as district sales representative of its Orlando, Fla., team. Fernandez is responsible for solving the suspended access and safety challenges of contractors and facility owners with emphasis in the south Florida market.
Fernandez brings more than 16 years of access experience to the position. Most recently, he served as branch manager for Contractors Access Equipment in Miami, supervising daily project operations and focusing on scaffold safety awareness. Previously, he spent four years as a service manager with South Florida Swing Stage and eight years between Spider’s Miami and Orlando operation centers, most recently in the role of service manager. Fernandez holds Scaffolding & Access Industry Association suspended scaffold certification.
