BigRentz, an online equipment rental network, has named Joe Dixon, former senior vice president of United Rentals, its new chief operating officer.
Dixon is a veteran of more than 30 years in the equipment rental industry. Dixon was senior vice president of sales at United Rentals. During his long career, Dixon was division vice president of operations and field sales for Hertz Equipment Rental Corp,; vice president of pro business and tool rental for Home Depot; and global vice president and general manager for JLG Industries.
As BigRentz COO, Dixon will be responsible for driving partnerships and oversee the company’s customer experience teams.
