Rental Equipment Investment Corp. continued its acquisition activity with the purchase of all the assets and certain liabilities of Excavator Rental Services LLC and ERSWest LLC. ERS is an equipment rental company based in Camas, Wash., with additional branches in Wilsonville and Hood River, Ore.
REIC is an equipment rental holding company that now has 26 locations in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain region.
“ERS is an excellent well-run company that utilizes its three locations to primarily serve the southwestern area of Washington and the western region of Oregon,” said Kevin Fitzgerald, CEO of REIC. “ERS will fit perfectly into REIC’s existing network of stores in Oregon and will put us in the state of Washington which we see as a great market for us. ERS is led by Jerry and Mary Sauer who have built ERS into a market leader in its area. We are looking forward to working with the ERS team to continue their high growth.”

ERS fell just short of being listed on the RER 100 in 2017 after reporting $11.6 million in 2016 rental revenue, and $16.1 million in total revenue.
