NESCO Acquires Utility Equipment Leasing Corp.

NESCO Sales and Rentals has acquired Utility Equipment Leasing Corp.

NESCO Sales and Rentals has acquired Utility Equipment Leasing Corp., Waukesha, Wis., thus combining the number two and three utility equipment rental companies in North America, according to NESCO. The UELC fleet adds more than 500 bucket trucks and digger derricks to NESCO’s fleet.

The acquisition includes UELC’s service centers in Waukesha, Wis.; Fort Worth, Texas; and Ontario, Calif.

“Acquiring UELC further broadens NESCO’s fleet offering and expands our customer base and ability to service our customers’ equipment needs nationwide,” said Lee Jacobsen, NESCO CEO. “The acquisition solidifies our position as one of the premier service and equipment providers in the utility and telecommunications rental markets.”

Jacobsen added that the acquisition shows NESCO’s commitment to “strategic consolidations.”

NESCO Sales & Rentals has more than 3,000 new and used bucket trucks, digger derricks, truck cranes, pressure diggers, aerial work platforms, sign trucks, utility trucks, augers and more. It is an authorized distributor for Elliott Equipment, Manitex Cranes, National Crane, Terex Utilities, among others.
