NES Rental’s Acquisition of Ballard Equipment Finalized

NES Rental Holdings this week completed its acquisition of Ballard Equipment in Chattanooga, Tenn. Ballard has 12 employees and 300 pieces of equipment. Ballard Equipment founder Jim Ballard will remain with the organization, as will all the employees, the company said.

“We have joined an organization that values our ability to treat our customers with the level of service they prefer from a small organization, but with the broad product lines and expertise found at a larger operation with national reach,” said Ballard.

Ballard Equipment is now operating as the Chattanooga branch of NES Rentals.

Based in Deerfield, Ill., a suburb of Chicago, NES Rentals is No. 8 on the RER 100.
