Morbark and Doggett Machinery Services Team Up to Serve Louisiana

Morbark Inc., a manufacturer of forestry and recycling equipment, last week announced that Doggett Machinery Services has been awarded an exclusive dealership to serve the state of Louisiana.

Morbark Inc., a manufacturer of forestry and recycling equipment, last week announced that Doggett Machinery Services has been awarded an exclusive dealership to serve the state of Louisiana.

Baton Rouge, La.-based Doggett Machinery Services consists of 11 construction and forestry equipment dealers located across the southeastern United States. Doggett will be adding Morbark equipment to its current line of John Deere, Hitachi, Timberjack, Sakai and Terex Roadbuilding products. Doggett’s Louisiana sales and service locations are Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Broussard, Covington, Monroe, Shreveport, Sulphur and Kenner.

“Morbark equipment compliments our current product line and allows us to continue to match our customers with only the best-in-class equipment and aggressive customer service,” said Rich Rise, Doggett vice president.

“Our relationship with Doggett Machinery Services will allow us to serve the Louisiana market locally with the exceptional sales, parts and service capabilities spread across the states’ eight locations,” said Patrick Andres, Morbark’s regional sales manager for Louisiana.

Morbark Inc., based in Winn, Mich., manufactures equipment for the sawmill, forestry, tree-care, and recycling markets. The company produces a full line of Chiparvestors, flails, whole-tree chippers, brush chippers and grinders.
