Miller-Bradford & Risberg this week announced it will offer Bomag asphalt pavers and the RS Series of reclaimers and stabilizers at all of its locations in Wisconsin and Michigan, as of Oct. 1. With these additions, Miller-Bradford & Risberg will represent the complete line of Bomag road-building products.

Miller-Bradford & Risberg also announced it will no longer carry the line of Volvo and Blaw-Knox asphalt paving equipment, as of Oct. 1, 2013. Volvo Construction Equipment is consolidating its dealer network in Wisconsin and the Michigan Upper Peninsula, and its construction equipment dealer will also provide Volvo CE’s line of road-building equipment. Aring Equipment will be awarded the distribution rights in Wisconsin and the Michigan Upper Peninsula.

“We are the oldest Bomag dealer in the United States,” said Mike Soley, president and CEO at Miller-Bradford & Risberg. “Miller-Bradford & Risberg has offered their products since the late 1950s. We are very happy to be representing all of the Bomag equipment.”

The Bomag line includes light and heavy compaction equipment, pavers, material transfer vehicles, cold milling machines, recyclers and stabilizers, and refuse compactors. There are eight models in the paver line, and working widths range from 8.5 to 30 feet. The stabilizer/recycler product group also has eight models, and the soil stabilizer/asphalt recycler group, three models.

The Bomag equipment is used for landscaping, road construction and maintenance, soil stabilization, and sanitary landfills.
