Honnen Equipment is opening a new facility in Salt Lake City, spanning 15 acres with more than 60,000 square feet. The concrete structure required 480 loads, 19 million pounds of concrete to complete.
The 22 full-service bays span 30,000 square feet, including an indoor wash bay, with a parts warehouse that can accommodate more than 10,000 unique parts.
“We have operated in the Rocky Mountain region for over 50 years and most recently for the past five years in Utah,” said Mark Honnen, company president. “Utah has a strong, diverse economy, a skilled and educated labor force and overall is a great place to live, work and play. This new location further demonstrates our commitment to the construction industry, especially our customers and our employees in the Salt Lake City market.”
Based in Commerce City, Colo., Honnen, No. 69 on the RER 100, has 10 locations in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho, representing Deere, Hitachi, Manitowoc, Grove, National, Wirtgen and more.
