Park Ridge, N.J.-based Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) last week announced the grand opening and re-opening of locations throughout the country. Its Kingston, Ontario, Canada-facility will re-open on Sept. 21; the Fredericksburg, Va.-facility will open on Sept. 27; the Greensboro, N.C.-facility will re-open on Sept. 28, and the new Commerce City/Denver, Colo.-facility will open on Oct. 5.

The openings and re-openings are part of the company’s general rental program expansion, which HERC began in 2003 in support of its commitment to increase services and products for small, medium and large contractors as well as homeowners. The company added 24 general rental locations in 2006 as part of its planned expansion in that line of equipment rental and currently has 115 general rental locations throughout the United States and Canada.

HERC is No. 4 on the RER 100 with more than 275 locations in the U.S. and Canada, and an additional 85 locations in France and Spain. HERC offers daily, weekly, monthly and long-term rentals of tools and supplies, as well as new and used equipment for sale, to customers ranging from major industrial companies to local contractors and consumers.
