HERC to Open Renovated Facility In Barrie, Ontario

Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. will celebrate the grand re-opening of its Barrie, Ontario, general rental facility on Friday, July 20. The event will take place at the store between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will showcase the facility’s renovated 3,000-square-foot showroom and 1.3-acre lot, and newly expanded product line, which includes small tools, construction equipment and contractors’ supplies.

The grand re-opening of HERC Barrie is part of the company’s general rental program expansion, which HERC began in 2003 in support of its commitment to increase services and products for small, medium and large contractors as well as homeowners. The company added 24 general rental locations in 2006 as part of its planned expansion in that line of equipment rental and currently has 115 general rental locations throughout the United States and Canada.

HERC’s Barrie general rental location offers a broad range of new products, including roto-tillers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, HERC Barrie still offers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl. HERC Barrie is also a Bobcat dealer, with specialized service and parts personnel.

At the HERC Barrie grand re-opening, vendor demonstrations and literature will be available, a free lunch will be provided and giveaways will be provided on-site while supplies last. HERC management will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Park Ridge, N.J.-based HERC is No. 4 on the RER 100.
