Godwin Pumps opened its newest branch in Poway, Calif., in the San Diego area. Sharing a space with Flygt, also a pump manufacturer owned by ITT Corp., the two companies will be serving the San Diego area with temporary and permanent pumping needs including rental, marine, municipal, military and construction applications. Godwin will work with a 5,000-square-foot shop, equipped with two overhead cranes to 10 tons, six truck docks and four work stations.
“In the past six months, we have created some strong new relationships throughout the region,” said Godwin’s Poway branch manager Nate Warren. Working with Flygt in the community has been very beneficial, and we look forward to the continued support and capability to expand our network even more.”
Godwin manufactures the Dri-Prime automatic self-priming, dry-running pump, as well as a wide range of electric submersible Sub-Prime, hydraulic submersible Heidra and gasoline-powered Wet-Prime pumps. It has an active rental division with more than 30 company-owned branches in the United States.
