Aggreko PLC last week said it expects its acquisition of G.E. Energy Rentals to be complete in early December.
The agreement, which calls for Aggreko to acquire the activities of G.E. Energy Rentals with the exception of those relating to large gas turbines, for as much as U.S. $212 million, was contingent on the fulfillment of a number of conditions, including customary regulatory approvals.
The statutory pre-merger waiting period required by United States anti-trust authorities has expired.
Aggreko is based in Glasgow, Scotland, with U.S. headquarters in Houston. The company is No. 13 on the RER 100. GE Energy Rentals, based in Atlanta, is No. 21 on the RER 100.
