Stephenson Equipment provided a Manitowoc MLC165 for work on the restoration of the original gate house and surrounding rock at the Pymatuning Dam in Crawford County, Pa. The man-made reservoir, originally completed in 1932, supplies water for the Shedango and Beaver Valleys in northwest Pennsylvania. The project at the reservoir is also adding water control gates.

Clearwater construction was the contractor in charge of the project.

“Clearwater has purchased several cranes from Stephenson over the years, including three 100-ton Manitowoc crawler cranes and a National 55-ton boom truck,” said Gabe Lash, territory rep for Stephenson Equipment. “Right now they are renting the MLC165 from us with the option to purchase it.”
