Equipment Depot Announces New Management Roles

Houston-based material handling and rental company Equipment Depot recently announced several promotions on its website. The company named Rick Green director of sales for material handling for the central region, Deanna Buchanan human resources director, Rich Day director of product support for the Southwest region, Mark Porta material handling sales manager, and William McCall branch manager Beaumont, Texas.

Green will be responsible for leading and managing sales functions for the material handling business in the region including Illinois, Indiana, western Kentucky and Wisconsin. Green spent the past seven years at Nissan Forklift as director of sales after 25 previous years with Equipment Depot in a variety of roles.

Buchanan has been with Equipment Depot for more than 10 years in a variety of roles. She is based in the company’s Dallas branch.

Day has had an extensive career with Caterpillar, Deere and Case dealerships. He will be based in Equipment Depot’s Houston branch.

Porta will be responsible for leading and managing Equipment Depot sales teams in western Kentucky and Indiana. He spent 34 years at Whayne Supply, one of the country’s largest and oldest Caterpillar dealerships.

McCall joined Equipment Depot in December 2012 as service manager for the Beaumont branch after working for Sunbelt Rentals for six years.
