Concrete Polishing HQ Adds Three Rental Companies as Dealers

Feb. 10, 2012
Concrete Polishing HQ has named three rental company dealers for its complete line of concrete polishing and surface preparation equipment and tools — Salt Lake City-based Diamond Rental, BJ’s Equipment Rental based in San Diego, and Fairfield, Calif.-based All Star Rents, a strong player in the northern California and Bay Area markets.

The dealers will offer the Superabrasive/Lavino Pro line of machines and diamond tooling along with Ermator Vacuums, Ameripolish and Prosoco chemicals.

Concrete Polishing HQ, based in Las Cruces, N.M., was founded in 2011 by Joseph Muench, owner of Las Cruces-based Action Equipment Rental, which has four locations. Muench saw an opportunity to fill a niche in his rental business with concrete-polishing equipment, concrete dyes and related items. After seeing profitable results in his own business, Muench is now offering these products to other equipment rental companies.

“The products and services we offer through our affiliation with CPHQ deliver healthy returns in a growing niche market,” said Mark Clawson, president of Diamond Rental. “Concrete polishing products from CPHQ have given our company the ability to move into a profitable and growing niche market — healthy merchandise margins and phenomenal assets.”

“Early market response to the equipment has been very positive,” added All Star Rents’ CEO John Wooten. “CPHQ has proven to be an excellent partner in helping us train not only our staff, but help us align with the customers in our market. Both polishing and floor prep applications will bring us a new and profitable revenue stream along with a new customer base.”
