Continuing SmartEquip’s integration of mid-market equipment rental companies, Casale Rent-All has entered into an agreement to implement SmartEquip’s online parts support network, SmartEquip said. Servicing the capital region of New York, Casale Rent-All will now have real-time access to critical parts and service information from the manufacturers they represent.

By utilizing SmartEquip’s Enterprise application, in conjunction with Casale’s existing rental management software by Point-of-Rental, Casale Rent-All will be able to streamline its multi-branch operations by automating and accelerating the service workflow. Casale plans to leverage the combined platform to reduce parts order error, increase technician wrench time and reduce downtime.

Casale Rent-All is one of the first Point-of-Rental customers to join the SmartEquip network. Earlier this year, SmartEquip and Point-of-Rental Software announced a strategic partnership to integrate their respective software platforms. This integration enables Point-of-Rental’s enterprise users to easily add SmartEquip through a cost-effective interface designed by a joint team of software engineers at Point-of-Rental and SmartEquip.

SmartEquip recently forged strategic partnerships with several rental ERP systems to integrate its parts support network into their rental software.  SmartEquip has signed Wynne Systems, Base Plan, Texada, Genisys and Point-of-Rental.  While SmartEquip can work with just about any software platform, establishing these types of partnerships provide their customers a cost-effective way to access the SmartEquip Network.

“We see a tremendous opportunity with the adoption of the SmartEquip network,” said Anthony Casale. “Because SmartEquip makes automating an outdated, manual process so simple, they have become the cornerstone of our process improvement initiative.”

“The addition of Casale Rent-All is yet another example of how the SmartEquip network is captivating our mid-market customer base,” added Ron Piccolo, SmartEquip’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Casale Rent-All is a family-owned and operated business that began as a True Value hardware store more than 20 years ago, and has since evolved into a full-service rental operation, renting everything from ground-engaging equipment to lifts, hoists and jacks. The company has locations in Clifton Park and Colonie, N.Y.
