State College, Pa.-based Best Line Equipment will distribute Doosan heavy excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks throughout western Pennsylvania.
Founded by Michael Houseknecht in 1985, Best Line Equipment has grown to include 12 dealerships across Pennsylvania, with a 13th location currently underway in West Chester. The recent acquisition of Uniontown Industrial Equipment Co. marks Best Line Equipment’s expansion into the western portion of the state.
In addition to serving the surrounding area’s heavy construction, government and industrial equipment needs the new Uniontown location better positions Best Line Equipment to enter western Pennsylvania’s ever-evolving natural gas and oil markets.

Best Line Equipment will continue to carry many of the same product lines previously stocked by Uniontown Industrial Equipment Co. — including the Doosan brand — while retaining many seasoned Uniontown Industrial Equipment employees.
