Arkansas Rental Company Lifts Up Food Bank

Arkansas Rental Sales & Service Co., a Volvo Rents franchise located in Little Rock, Ark., recently painted an S-85 Genie lift in support of Operation More Care, an effort to support the Arkansas Food Bank Network.

“So many people have lost their jobs and, Arkansas being one of the poorest states in the nation, I could not think of a better way of giving back than putting food on peoples’ tables,” Troy Dodd, owner and president, told RER.

A percentage of the revenue from rental of the S-85 Genie lift goes to the food bank and the company is also collecting food from its customers and vendors. “What we are doing here is very small, but we are trying to get more businesses to get involved in their local markets and support their charity of choice,” Dodd said.
