Aggreko, global leader in rental power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air, has entered into a three-year agreement to be the preferred supplier of services to Clean Harbors Environmental Services. The agreement, which includes Clean Harbors Canada, calls for Aggreko to provide equipment and services at Clean Harbor’s on-site facilities as well as in remote locations on projects dealing with hazardous waste spills or contamination.

“Through years of experience, the teams at Aggreko and Clean Harbors have developed a strong working relationship,” said Tim Heath, Aggreko’s Southeast Area Sales Manager. “Aggreko’s national presence, industry-leading level of service and quick response matches Clean Harbor’s exacting requirements when called upon for hazardous waste issues.”

Clean Harbor is a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services and the largest hazardous waste disposal company in North America. The company, which serves more than 50,000 customers and has facilities in nine countries and 36 U.S. states, provides a range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste recycling, treatment and disposal services, as well as laboratory chemical packaging.

Aggreko and Clean Harbors began working together on a project-by-project basis in 2007, but this is their first multi-year agreement. The two companies recently cooperated on the two-month repair of Atlanta’s R.M. Clayton Water Reclamation Center, after the city’s flooding in September 2009, and have collaborated on projects in Texas, Indiana, Alabama, Wyoming and West Virginia.

Headquartered in Scotland, with U.S. headquarters in Houston, Aggreko is No. 9 on the RER 100.
