Gulf Engine, a Kubota Engine distributor in the Gulf South, has been packaging diesel-powered equipment for the offshore rental market for 40 years. Gulf Engine has added four new units to the premium line of Gulf-Tek diesel trash pumps. The units feature Kubota diesel engines and Gorman Rupp trash pumps. Pump sets are mounted in heavy-duty roll frame skids or can be trailer mounted. Trash pumps are available in 2 through 6 inches with flow rates from 180 to 1,200 gpm. Gulf-Tek pumps are designed for heavy-duty rental applications and are available offshore ready.
“The pump sets can be configured to the rental dealer's exact specifications for either rental or resale,” says Les Palmisano Jr., president of Gulf Engine. “The most important feature on Gulf-Tek pumps is in the detail. The accessories are just as important as the engine and pump.”
