FTG Equipment Solutions

FTG Equipment Solutions introduces the new Rotair D185K twin-screw portable air compressor, which produces 185 cfm at 100 psi. The new Rotair model features a Kubota V2403-M-E3B diesel engine and a direct-drive air end that spins at 2,700 rpm, ensuring maximum efficiency, long bearing life and quiet operation. The D185K comes standard with an Automatic Fuel Saving System, designed to save as much as 20 percent in fuel costs. A 20-gallon steel fuel tank provides eight hours of operation, and separate engine/compressor intake filters protect the D185K from ingestion of dangerous particles.

Diversified Products

Diversified Products introduces the next generation of its fall arrest service crane basket, which is designed for accessing high-reach maintenance areas, especially on large equipment. The new yoke-style baskets quickly attach to service cranes, providing personnel with a convenient and safe alternative to renting aerial lifts or using ladders. Constructed of heavy-duty steel, the full-sized floor is 30 inches wide by 30 inches deep. Other standard features include upset holes to prevent slippage, lanyard attach points and a high-capacity caliper brake to increase stability.

Jenny Products

Jenny Products introduces the W11HGB-30P to its line of two-stage wheeled air compressors. The portable unit is equipped with an 11-hp Honda GX-Series engine with electric start. It includes a 30-gallon, ASME-certified air tank with a durable powder coat. The compressor produces 21 cfm at 100 psi or 17.6 cfm at 175 psi. The W11HGB-30P is belt driven with a large flywheel and special unloading valves for easy start-ups and extra cooling. A directional air shroud helps further reduce pump temperatures.

Allen Engineering

The new RS800 Series Rollerscreeds from Allen Engineering are designed for highway panel replacements, white-topping or airfield applications. The RS844 is the first of the new series of Allen spinning tube pavers that are both designed and engineered to provide value to contractors. The RS844 is a ride-on steerable roller screed powered by a 44-hp Kubota turbo diesel engine. The 8-inch-diameter paving tube provides 25 percent more surface contact to the concrete, which provides a smoother finished pavement. The RS844 is available in widths of 14 to 34 inches with working widths of 12 to 32 inches.

Bomag

Featuring a specially developed operator's platform, Bomag's new BW100ADM-5 tandem vibratory roller is engineered to provide all-around visibility and intuitive controls for efficient operation. A new Smart Drive steering wheel has a smaller diameter to provide more room for the operator and clear view of all controls. The driver's platform also features a multifunctional travel lever and adjustable seat that provides added comfort and an improved view of the drums. The BW100ADM-5 is powered by a 20.2-hp, water-cooled Kubota diesel engine that includes ECOMODE, a system that automatically idles the engine to conserve fuel during inactivity. The roller delivers 3,822 pounds of centrifugal force at a frequency of 3,780 vpm, with a working width of 39.4 inches.

Gradall

Weighing 51,216 pounds, the XL 5300 III excavator from Gradall Industries is the largest model in the company's line that features a wheeled undercarriage. The new unit has a maximum reach of 33 feet, 10 inches at grade, and a maximum dig depth of 24 feet, 7 inches. Its rated bucket breakout force is 25,405 pounds and the rated boom force is 24,941 pounds. Mobility of the XL 5300 III is enhanced by a full-time, 4-wheel-drive transfer case designed to deliver power from the hydraulic drive motor to the drive axles. Both axles have wet-disc brakes.

Jarraff Industries

The Geo-Boy brush cutter 4x4 model from Jarraff Industries now features ROPS and FOPS certification. Available in both wheeled and track configurations, the Geo-Boy also offers other safety features including No Mar windows and a rear-view camera. The Geo-Boy is designed to lift the cutter head approximately 11 feet high and can clear brush and trees up to 12 inches in diameter. It also offers 220- or 260-hp engine options.

Haulotte

Haulotte Group introduces its improved rough-terrain compact scisssorlift range. The C2668RT and C3368RT are now fitted with a Kubota Tier 4 engine that offers significant noise reduction and reduces fuel consumption and emissions. The new-generation lifts feature four-wheel drive, 11-inch ground clearance and automatic hydraulic differential lock that enables them to climb steep slopes and work productively on uneven ground. The new models feature full proportional and ergonomically designed controls for ease of operation. One switch can deploy and retract all four outriggers simultaneously with auto-leveling capabilities.

Atlas Copco Construction Tools

Atlas Copco Construction Tools launches a new range of three ride-on trowels for concrete floor specialists and rental companies. The new machines are fully mechanical with two sizes to choose from — the 1,880 mm BG740 and the 2,336 mm BG910 (pictured). The BG740 is equipped with four blades per rotor and a torque converter that allows the machine to move quickly on the concrete while sustaining the same torque, thus saving energy. The BG910 has large rotor diameters and is equipped with five blades per rotor, providing a more accurate surface in a shorter working time.

Kaeser Compressors

The new Mobilair M250 from Kaeser Compressors provides 900 cfm at 125 psig and features a 288-hp Mercedes-Benz diesel engine. Designed for easy towing and maximum maneuverability, the M250 is compact and weighs less than 7,000 pounds in the standard version. Options include pressures to 205 psig, and air treatment to meet the special demands of applications such as concrete repair.
