RMI this week released four new features for Advantage Mobile users. These new business routines are designed to deliver inventory efficiencies by recording movement of rental fleet and parts inventory as it happens. By managing rental returns, rental asset inquiries and inventory transfers on mobile devices, Advantage users provide customers with higher levels of service.
Mobile rental returns enable a business’ delivery people to check in a piece of equipment while out in the yard, or even during transport. Mobile rental fleet inquiry and inventory transfers were developed to support easy equipment availability checks and location transfers to meet demand across an organization.
The Sign-and-Send feature enables mobile tablet users to electronically accept a person’s signature on a document and then send that signed document to any email address. This feature is beneficial with rental quotes, rental deliveries and returns, and service work orders.
