Alert Management Systems is introducing Sign&Rent from Volatile Studios. Sign&Rent includes integrated real-time contract signing via a secure website, using a finger, stylus or mouse to “draw” the signature. The program can work anywhere with Internet access, on any smart phone, tablet or PC, on the rental center’s rental counter, on a jobsite, or in the customer’s back office, Alert said.Customers can sign on their own devices from anywhere, without help from the rental company, simply by clicking a URL sent via e-mail. Optimized for documenting equipment delivery, the full-color, multiple-page rental contract can include notes and customer terms acceptance (initials) on each page. Sign&Rent facilitates the driver taking optional “walk-around” photos of the equipment and customer, to be integrated into the rental contract.“This product, only available from Alert, solves a real problem and gives our clients another real edge,” said Alert president Rob Ross. “Now our clients can avoid ever having to drop off equipment without gaining a confirming signature. No more blind drops.”Sign&Rent is integrated into Alert EasyPro’s Dispatcher Dashboard system, which provides paperless dispatching and routing, as well as automatic e-mailing of multiple Sign&Rent contract URLs and pdfs to the delivery driver’s smart phone or tablet.
