Aggreko Purchases Cummins Power Rental in India; Sells Oil Free Compressed Air Rental Business
Aggreko plc, a world leader in the supply of temporary power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air services, last week announced that it has signed agreements on two transactions. The first involves the purchase of the business and assets related to power rental of Cummins in India. The second involves the sale of Aggreko’s European oil-free compressed air rental business to Atlas Copco....

First Nine Months Strong for Wacker Despite Slowdown
Fueled by the merger of Wacker and Neuson, Wacker Construction Equipment, soon to be known as Wacker Neuson SE, grew sales 35.8 percent during the first nine months of 2008, from €504.2 million in the first nine months of 2007 to €684.7 million this year (about U.S. $853.3 million). Green Building Could Triple by 2013
The U.S. green building market is accelerating at a dramatic rate, according to McGraw-Hill Construction’s Green Outlook 2009: Trends Driving Change report, released last week at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Boston. The value of green building construction starts was up five-fold from 2005 to 2008 (from $10 billion to $36-$49 billion), and could triple by 2013, reaching $96-$140 billion....
